New Zealand sports clothing manufacturer Canterbury is the largest dedicated Rugby brand in the world. Established in 1904, they supplied kit to the All Blacks team for over 75 years, and now supply kit to national teams; British & Irish Lions, England Rugby and Ireland Rugby, as well as leading clubs such as Leinster, NZ Warriors and Bath Rugby.

I worked with director James Copson from production company Anattic TV to create a series of short films for the brand, across a range of different styles.

These included social media ‘challenge’ videos, technique training tutorials, and interviews. We also produced ‘hero’ films for two stars of the game; Dylan Hartley, captain of the England National Rugby Union team, and Robbie Henshaw, member of the Irish National Rugby Union team.

Filming on location in Northampton and Dublin, we used high end cameras and lenses from Arri, and stabilisation equipment such as the Movi from Freefly. This allowed us to capture engaging and dynamic footage of these professional athletes in action.
